COMMANDMENTS FOR CHRSITIAN FAMILIES
I. COMMANDMENTS FOR CHRISTIAN HUSBANDS
(Read Ephesians 5:25,28-29,31,33)
1. Remember, your wife is your partner not your property.
2. One keeps the love of his wife the same way he won it in the first place.
3. Always enter your house with cheerfulness (Ecclesiastes 9:9}
4. Talk to your mate, not about her.
5. Be the head of the household.
6. Don't allow anyone to criticize your wife to your face, neither father,
mother, brother, sister, or children. (Ephesians 5:31).
7. You shall not take your wife for granted 1 Peter 3:7}
8. Always include your wife in the family's business.
9. Never allow material gain to deprive you of spiritual net
worth.
10. Don't forget to pray together.
II. COMMANDMENTS FOR CHRISTIAN WIVES
(Read Proverbs 31:10-31and Titus 2:4-5)
1. Love your husband and your children.
2. Be sensible and kind (good).
3. Keep yourself pure (Don't flirt with infidelity).
4. Keep a warm comfortable home for you and your family.
5. Be submissive to your Christian husband (see Ephesians
5:22-33).
6. Don't nag or bring up the past every time he falters. (Proverbs 19:13).
7. Don't expect your husband to embellish you with gold & pearls. There are more
Important things in life.
8. Don't speak negatively or unfairly about religious leaders. (1 Chronicles
16:22).
9. Don't forget the virtue of good humor. Every man loves a smile on the face
his wife.
10. Teach God's word to your children (2 Timothy 1:5).
III. COMMANDMENTS FOR CHILDREN
(Read Ephesians 6:1-6)
1. Respect your parents (guardian) in the fear of the Lord.
(Ephesians 6:2-3)
2. Let the words of your mouth be sweet and not bitter.
(Colossians 4:6)
3. Pay close attention to the rules set by your parents
(Ephesians 6:1).
4. Don't forget to perform your duties around the house.
5. Never lock your family out of your life. Keep them
informed. (Genesis13:5-9).
6. Don't be afraid to accept responsibilities (1 Thessalonians
3:11-12).
7. Remain sexually pure (1 Timothy 4:12; 2 Timothy 2:22).
8. Never allow yourself to become selfish (Matthew 20:20-
28).
9. Never bore people with tales of your own greatness.
10. Obey the Gospel and remain faithful (1 John 1:7).

LITTLE JOHNNY
The math teacher saw that little Johnny wasn’t paying attention in class. She
called on him and said, “Johnny! What are 2 and 4 and 28 and 44?”
