HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?

TEXT: Daniel 5:27

Paul seems to indicate that spiritual exercise is more important than physical. 1 Timothy 4:8 "For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come." Hebrews 5:14 "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." We will all be required to step onto God’s scales one day (2 Corinthians 5:10). We should weigh ourselves and be sure we are spiritually heavy enough (2 Corinthians 13:5).

DANIEL 5, "WRITING ON THE WALL" "You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting" That very night, the soldiers of DARIUS captured Babylon and Belshazzar was killed.

II. HOW DOES GOD WEIGH US? Not on the scales of human wisdom Proverbs 14:12; Jeremiah 10:23 Not by comparing ourselves to others. Romans14:
