G. No respect for others feelings, property, rights, safety etc. Just wanting more.
H. Covetousness in the Bible- "Wanting the property of another to the point of being
willing to do whatever it takes to get it." (1Cor.6:10;Eph.5:3; Col.3:5)
II. WHAT'S MINE IS MINE AND I INTEND TO KEEP IT:
A. Sin of selfishness: tight-fisted. "Tighter than the bark on the tree"
B. Priest and Levite (Vss.31-32)
C. See people hurting and have opportunity and ability to do so but refuse.
D. Why should I give you what I have?
E. Satan loves it when God's people are selfish, it is a subtle sin.

F. Jesus gave the ultimate gift to a people who so desparately needed help (Jno.15:14ff;
Rom.3:23).
Conclusion:
1. Jesus is still saying "What's mine is yours."
2. Phil.2:5; 1Pet.2:21
3. Where are you in your life? "What's yours is mine if I can take; What's mine is mine
and you are never going to get any of it; or What's mine is yours if you need it" ?
